Will be updated once 20 beta is released; users should use 19 at the moment.

@Ashark, very true, but there is a 17b package available for Linux, which is relevant to bringing new features to Linux. I think that's what Kureta is referring to.

@rjhilgefort currently the PKGBUILD is made such way, that it installs resolve to its own opt directory. So you may just create a symlink called davinci-resolve in /usr/bin and point it to /opt/resolve/bin/resolve. I personally made a script there instead of symlink, because I wanted some variables to be changed before launch. Probably, worth mentioning this in wiki.

I'm trying to install this via Pamac, it seems to install successfully, but then there is nothing by the name of davinci-resolve or anything similar to run? Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

17.1 Beta 1 Update is only available for mac os currently. But it provides nothing interesting for Linux OS (Apple M1 processors and Mac OS Big Sur support).
