Hi,

thanks for maintaining this package.

Could you add "armv7h" to the supported architectures, please? The package builds and works fine on my Raspberry Pi 2/3.

Thanks a lot, rtfm3514

make is part of base-devel which is expected to be installed if you want to build packages from aur.

It only builds with ``make'' installed. Had ``cmake'' installed but not ``GNU make'' ==> Starting build()... CMake Error: CMake was unable to find a build program corresponding to "Unix Makefiles". CMAKE_MAKE_PROGRAM is not set. You probably need to select a different build tool. CMake Error: CMAKE_C_COMPILER not set, after EnableLanguage -- Configuring incomplete, errors occurred! ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build(). Aborting... :: failed to build ddate package(s)

Thank you, makepkg's got nothing on you --- works like a charm now. Finally, I can see the date...

Thanks kaptoxic. makepkg got stricter and called me out for being to stupid to make an array. I get what I deserve.

I get the following error: ==> ERROR: arch contains invalid characters: ' ' ==> ERROR: ddate is not available for the 'x86_64' architecture. Note that many packages may need a line added to their PKGBUILD such as arch=('x86_64'). ==> ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build ddate.

@Lassulus can't confirm. Maybe you tried building during a GitHub outage?

Lassulus commented on 2014-04-02 21:46 (UTC)

doesnt build anymore, resource is unavailable

Howitzer commented on 2014-02-01 12:27 (UTC)

This package also builds on armv6h.

Thanks for maintaining this, so I can point people here in case they miss it from util-linux :-) Since you asked for feedback: If you don't intend to fork ddate, but just use the upstream sources, then you can just build the binary from upstream: ./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-ddate cd misc-utils make ddate
