doesn't build for me... checking where the gettext function comes from... libc ./configure: line 20965: syntax error near unexpected token `0.40.0' ./configure: line 20965: `IT_PROG_INTLTOOL(0.40.0)'

you should put intltool in the depends

git clone git://lxde.git.sourceforge.net/gitroot/lxde/deadbeef cd deadbeef git checkout --track -b l10n origin/i18n gives you deadbeef tree with the translation files.

With this PKGBUILD you can build current unstable version of deadbeef. Git have 3 branches - master (like deadbeef-git), devel (like this) and bsd. With this package you'll have more features, but it can work bad.
