Just tried it but received this error message: error: missing package metadata in /Downloads/yandex-disk_latest_amd64.tar.gz error: '/Downloads/yandex-disk_latest_amd64.tar.gz': invalid or corrupted package

please update your PKGBUILD to use `package ()'

Done. Worked here without --follow-symlinks. Anyway, updated :)

vasily commented on 2012-11-14 08:31 (UTC)

Cannot patch since the sources in the $srcdir are symlinks to the real source files. Should be patched with --follow-symlinks and $srcdir/deb2targz should be used instead of ../deb2targz. Here is an updated PKGBUILD: https://raw.github.com/gist/4070985/4eef4442393a1d0b514f060bf61f6a4b3f232148/PKGBUILD

Done. Thanks!

Can you please fix the PKGBUILD by using the normal source array and not calling wget yourself? Corrected PKGBUILD here: http://pastebin.com/aSv7NW6F

This is not a bug in the PKGBUILD. It works fine here.
