Don't know if this is the clean way of fixing the patch problem but it should work now.

Well, i've to write it this way, 'deb2targz' only doesn't work for me. And it IS an pearl script btw. Possibly it depends on the shell? I'm using zsh. Edit#1: Ok, sorry. Got you wrong. Yes, the .pl at the bottom could possibly be removed. Edit#2: Fixed.

is it correct to have the ".pl" at the end of the script (which I guess stands for perl script) ? On my machine I have then to call deb2targz.pl to execute it .... and there are other packages around which use simply deb2targz ...
