"--mflags --skippgpcheck" doesn't work, the import key doesn't either and I'd like to know why this key feature is never handled more precisely and where the recurring problem is, anyway it doesn't matter, thanks.

if for some reason key is not available you can also skip key check: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Makepkg#Signature_checking

some aur helpers can pass flags directly to makepkg:

paru -S --mflags --skippgpcheck debounce
yay -S --mflags --skippgpcheck debounce
