If you're having issues building the package, make sure the prettier package is up-to-date on your system.

Current version is prettier 3.2.2

Can't get deezer to give any audio via pipewire. I'm not seeing any way to select an output and it doesn't even show up on the pulseaudio tools or pipewire tools when opened. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello !

I have the MPRIS bug too when I upgrade electron13 to 13.5.2-1.

Rollbacking to these versions, fixes the problem:

$pacman -Q deezer electron13
deezer 5.30.60-1
electron13 13.4.0-3

Hope that helps !

Edit : I tried with the latest Deezer version and it still works :

pacman -Q deezer electron13
deezer 5.30.70-1
electron13 13.4.0-3

SibrenVasse,

Sorry for delay. Yes I did this as first attempt and before every launch when I tried older versions.

yurikoles: have you tried removing your .config/deezer-desktop folder to start with a clean profile?

It seems that problem is deeper, I tried a few versions back to November 2020, all have same issue.

I submitted a request to Deezer that they fix whatever it is they did to break mpris support. However, I do suspect it'll likely fall on deaf ears. - https://support.deezer.com/hc/en-gb/requests/new

yurikoles: can you pinpoint the last version that worked? that way I can take a look at the differences. I have made no changes though, so it's most likely an upstream change. Enabling dark mode in the menu does work, right?

msrd0: the removal of the npm module mpris-service from the offical package made my mpris patches incompatible with deezer version greater than 5. The current behaviour is just the default, unpatched implementation which is very broken.

Since the last update, the MPRIS interface seems to be no longer working. When I run playerctl --list-all I see some chromium.instance which is likely deezer's electron instance, but running commands like playerctl next does nothing. When running deezer in firefox, those same commands work (but it has no offline mode sadly).
