elyur: did you build electron6 yourselves? Looks like you need to rebuild because of a soname bump. Electron6 is currently in the main repositories.

Hi ! I can't use Deezer:

electron6: error while loading shared libraries: libre2.so.7: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I have tried many proxies to test, but I cant seem to find one where I can reproduce your problem.

Yup that's what I'd expect to happen, They use a cdn!

So you need to find a URL that works universally or mark this as a regional package because this may work for french or Dutch users but outside the EU we'll hit a different cdn.

Okay that URL gives me a 404...

I boot my win10 VM browse to https://www.deezer.com/en-gb/download, click download. Then save it to my nas and collect it from there and save it to the relevant build file then re run makepkg -is

I don't use any fancy url just their website.

t0m5k1: I mean the URL you use to manually download it. The one that does work.

@SibreVasse:

I use the one in the PKGBUILD, Why would I use anything different? If I dump the url (https://www.deezer.com/desktop/download/artifact/win32/x86/4.24.0) in a browser I get 404.

❯ curl https://www.deezer.com/desktop/update\?currentVersion\=4.24.0\&architecture\=x86\&platform\=win32\&platformVersion\=10\&employee=no\&userId\=1337

version: 4.24.0

name: 'Deezer Desktop (Electron)'

forceUpdate: false

releaseDate: '2020-09-25T13:40:46+00:00'

path: artifact/win32/x86/4.24.0

@t0m5k1: can you tell me what URL you use? Cause the URL is the one I get from the built-in update checker. I haven't heard about anyone else having issues with the URL. What is the server response if you use the URL from the PKGBUILD?

Please also post the response you get to:

curl https://www.deezer.com/desktop/update\?currentVersion\=4.24.0\&architecture\=x86\&platform\=win32\&platformVersion\=10\&employee=no\&userId\=1337

I think you should add a warning that for some people you'll need to manually download the setup.exe as the link given in your PKGBUILD has never worked for me, Every time I try to update or fresh install I always have to manually fetch the setup.exe.
