So I uninstalled the electron5 version and cleared it from yay cache. I then installed the electron6 version without editing the PKGBUILD file and this time, I did not get an option to log in. It just started and closed immediately. There doesn't appear to be that many changes in the log only a few lines missing in the new one that were in the old one.

@keystroke3: there is a lot going wrong in that log. Most important part:
This does not seem related to the deezer app, more your electron installation. Can you post the log with electron6?

I used electron6 which is part of the Manjaro repos. I tried changing the version to electron5 in the PKGBUILD file before attempting the install again after I saw you mention it here. That did not solve the problem. Here is the full log. I deleted the lines with 'cookie' as asked.

@keystroke3: What version of electron are you using? There is no electron6 in the stable manjaro repository as far as I can see. This package is untested on manjaro, how did you install it?
As for the crash, can you paste the full log? (remember to remove lines containing the word 'cookie'

I am having problems with the app. It closes every time I open it after logging in. When I start it in terminal here is the output last output before it crushes:

@mybadmc: If you're having trouble staying logged in after the electron downgrade, you can delete ~/.config/deezer-desktop/ and try again.

Since the last update it keeps asking me for login information on startup every time.

ZenM: I'm currently investigating. For the time being I'll have to drop the electron version dependency to electron5.
