BeerInjection: Thank you for reporting your issue.

I cannot seem to reproduce it on my system on sway, xfce or gnome (with Tray Icons: Reloaded extension). Left clicking just opens the tray menu. What is the deezer package version? What desktop environment are you using?

Hello! When I click on the tray icon, this Electron window shows up:

But right-clicking and choosing the "Open Deezer" option works.

Bricklou: changing the dependency will not change the runtime used for the package. (See the Deezer script in the sources, it will still start with electon6) Deezer distributes using version 5.

If you want, you can try running using the new electron:

  • (First make sure Deezer is not running)
  • Then run electron /usr/share/deezer/app.asar on your command line.

You will see that it is very broken.

I tried to rebuild the package with electron instead of electron6. It's work fine so you should change the requirements to avoid using an old version of electron.

SibrenVasse it did not want nodejs-lts-fermium... It wanted nodejs.... I'm now on fedora i did not feel like spending hours getting arch to let my monitor do a 60 Hz refresh rate instead of 30.. When others was doing 60 out of the box like it should read !!

MichaelP: Oh sorry, in that case I'm confused. nodejs-lts-fermium is available in the same repository as nodejs. (community)

SibrenVasse: Was using Arch Linux: The Calam Arch Installer...

MichaelP: You seem to be using a different linux distribution that is not supported by the AUR or me. On Arch the package builds fine.
