Hi @dreieck,
Dell printers are using Samsung hardware under the hood. That's why there is an overlap. There is a good chance, you can operate your Dell printer with the Samsung package, though perhaps needing some PPDs from this package.
One could probably also fix the packages to operate in parallel, but this might need some work.
