Hello guys,

Indeed this is a binary but not only, this is also "portable", that's a cool idea for Windows systems, not really conventional on Linux, one of the numerous bad reason to do this is that it is redistributing outdated libraries, and adds a notable layer of complexity into the build system just to handle libraries.

I have created aur/detect-it-easy-it

  • Everything is compiled from the latest commit on the source code
  • Fully integrated into Arch Linux based distros, no more libraries are redistributed in the package
  • No more extra *.sh script is necessary
  • Desktop launchers

Feel free to abuse :)

Hi, this does not work as installed due to expected path inside of die.sh.

To get it working, replace the CWD path in /usr/bin/die.sh.

This can be done with sed inside of the PKGBUILD and you don't need to host a diff file anywhere.

this package should probably be renamed detect-it-easy-bin, since it just uses the precompiled binary
