Ok, tested. Unfortunately, it does not work with the ruby-ncurses package. Diakonos specifically uses the "Curses" package.

@xyproto: Perhaps you could try it by installing that package, and then seeing if Diakonos begins to work.

@xyproto: I'm not sure, but I'd suspect not.

ruby-ncurses is an official package. Does it work with that one?

Sorry for the delay with this. I tried this again recently, and it Just Works as long as the ruby with which Diakonos is installed also has the curses gem installed on it (`gem install curses`). Is it possible to adjust the PKGBUILD to make this happen? Even if it means creating a separate Arch package for the curses gem?

I'm aware of the incompatibility with Ruby 2.1 . I haven't made time to address this yet, but based on this interest, I will expedite my work in this area. Thanks for your continued interest in Diakonos.

Curses was removed in Ruby 2.1.0, you need to use an older version of ruby for now (using rvm for example). I've forwarded the bug to the author of diakonos, hopefully we can resolve the issue soon.
