@respiranto citing from PKGBUILD#makedepends with the same format:

The package base-devel is assumed to be already installed when building with makepkg. Dependencies of this package should not be included in makedepends array.

Nevertheless, including dependencies of base-devel is not technically dangerous.

Removed sed from makedepends; thanks.

I believe there was some controversy over whether to include dependencies of base-devel in the past, but not including them seems to be considered best pratice nowadays.

Thanks for the regular update, I rarely rebuild dict-* PKGBUILDs, unless they're changed/updated.

By the way, sed is a dependency of both base and base-devel. You can omit it entirely from your dependency lists. It basically exists on every GNU/Linux machine, already.

(Yeah! Also, I, as a sed user, wasn't expecting sed to be such ubiquitous.)

The http URL works for me; but I agree, the PKGBUILD should consistently use https. Thanks!

The url doesn't work, it assume http, however, does.

Thanks for maintenance.

The foldoc source has changed (it returns a 404), now it is just: And the fdl-1.1.txt sum is wrong apparently, the new one is: 021a3205572254b975b3d3ad8b616010b9419cb1e3d68c54c64e36b898a1409e3561e8a2023e3efc324d1034d10ff316975e8008a56211f9fe43f316a15061d4 Please fix m9 :)
