I got it to build by downgrading vala from 38.5-1 to 0.38.4-1 (you only need 38.4-1 to build you can update after that). This will be a workaround until i can figure out a real fix. This work around also fixes nuvolaruntime building issues.

@exad I got this to build in the beginning of this month. Nothing has changed on Nuvola's end. i will check if it is due to updated arch packages. So far it looks like it. Some features nuvola was using might no longer be referenced. I have a free weekend. so i can deep dive into it starting Friday.

I cannot build this for the life of me. I even tried to build directly from git and could not manage. Keep getting Build Failed Status 1 Pastebin: https://pastebin.com/RkRNHyjm

Now I just need to figure out how to cancel an orphan request.

@laramy2020, should I add you to maintainers list?

Added the fix

@laramy2020: you should add "--libdir=/usr/lib" to the configure command in your PKGBUILD, otherwise libs are installed on /usr/lib64 which is not a standard directory for libs in Arch Linux.
