Please remove those 2 lines as they are no longer needed now you use options array to achieve that goal .
It's not needed nor desired to update this so often . See https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/AUR_submission_guidelines#Publishing_new_package_content

Agree, but can be achieved in a cleaner/simpler way.
add
options=(!lto)
