Thanks for your message!
I agree, and I will change the name of the package
Should changing the name in the PKGBUILD suffice? Or do I need to take any other steps to complete the renaming process?

Thanks for providing this PKGBUILD.
May I suggest to rename this PKGBUILD from "dirstat-git" to "dirstat-rs-git" ?
That is the name the original developer gave it.
There are many many tools on the internet for linux and windows containing the word "dirstat". Some are also on the AUR. Some are written in go, some in rust, etc etc. They have nothing to do with each other.
Yours is of course one of the first in the AUR, 2021, to choose this very common name. So you are not to blame for any confusion.
But by renaminig the PKGBUILDi it just makes it less confusing for end users and doesnt cost you nothing.
Thanks in advance
