The download source at mdonline.ro fails with timeout. The author's page offers an alternative download on google drive but it obfuscate the actual download with an antivirus warning so I was unable to edit the pkgbuild with a working download URL.

thanks muflone, i'm working to fix it. in the coming days i'll upload a new release of PKGBUILD, with .install file and fixed .desktop thanks

in the .desktop file remove the hardcoded path /usr/share/pixmaps/dmmediaconverter.png and replace it with only Icon=dmmediaconverter

As long you provide a .desktop file you must: 1) provide also a .install file with the call to update-desktop-database -q 2) specify the install file in the PKGBUILD 3) add the desktop-file-utils dependency required for update-desktop-database 4) ignore the namcap warning about the unneeded desktop-file-utils dependency
