@thor77,

Sent you the patch file via email. Please advise if received.

The author of the dnswalk has a repo here, github/davebarr/ dnswalk, and there's a pull request (from 2015) to fix the array issue, and another SOA issue, but those haven't been into his repo as yet.

I can generate a patch from the PR (with credits to the github user @vanmelick) and send it to you, that way you can incorporate it into the PKGBUILD and it'll solve the problem.

@thor77,

Thanks.

dnswalk actually working, it appears to be an issue with the use of defined(@_ARRAY_) in recent versions of perl.

I was able to update the code to reflect the changes and it ran as expected.

Lines: 59, 61, 87, 107; if the code is editted to remove the named arrays there, while still keeping the checks as intended, then it runs.

I'll check upstream and see what's being done, if anything to fix it.

@L0-FF fixed, thanks! It now installs successfully, it doesn't look like it works with recent perl versions anymore, though...

The source link for the dnswalk archive is broken in the PKGBUILD:

Installing with --editmenu and changing the archive url to: https://sourceforge.net/projects/dnswalk/files/$pkgname/$pkgver/dnswalk-$pkgver.tar.gz/download

.. will install this package successfully.
