PKGBUILD source, issue tracker and PR -> https://github.com/arch-noob/docear

As of Jun 10, 2018 Docear is Deprecated by the author.

We currently do not have the funding and time to continue the development of Docear,
or giving support. This also means that we cannot fix any bugs that might exist
in the current version of Docear.

Package fails to build if you have a custom $SRCDEST:

==> Validating source files with md5sums... docear_1.2.0_stable.tar.gz ... Passed docear-metadata-lib-0.0.1.jar?raw=1 ... Passed docear.desktop ... Passed ==> Extracting sources... -> Extracting docear_1.2.0_stable.tar.gz with bsdtar ==> Starting build()... ==> Entering fakeroot environment... ==> Starting package()... install: cannot stat '/tmp/yaourt-tmp-dark-saber/aur-docear/docear-metadata-lib-0.0.1.jar?raw=1': No such file or directory ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in package(). Aborting...

Package builds fine if you replace $startdir with $srcdir in line 60 of PKGBUILD: install -Dm 644 "$srcdir/docear-metadata-lib-0.0.1.jar?raw=1" "${pkgdir}/usr/share/docear/plugins/org.docear.plugin.bibtex/lib/docear-metadata-lib-0.0.1.jar".

The current .desktop almost works, the favorite feature is broken and it doesn't recognize the opened app because it opens with "java-lang-Thread" instead of Docear or something more meaningful. I really try do to search about it, I found this promissor post (https://locademiaz.wordpress.com/2011/08/30/turn-your-java-apps-gnome-shell-friendly/) but I could get it to work. Thx

I feel this might be a temporary sourceforge network issue. You can download the package from http://docear.org/download/docear_linux.tar.gz and change the md5sum. Or download a precompiled package from http://repo.archlinuxcn.org/x86_64/docear-1.1.0_stable-1-any.pkg.tar.xz

I can't compile docear using yaourt.

@randompie Maybe someone was referring to the 1.1.1 beta?

Why has this been "Flagged out-of-date (2014-09-05)"?
