Hello, recently a commit was made disallowing dolphin to be used as root. So I downloaded and undid the commit for myself. I don't know if I'll get in trouble for removing the commit in the aur package too but I guess we'll see :-)

@ flying-sheep, Thank you so much. I've tried to fix this problem for ever, and your solution by reinstalling "baloo-widgets-git" fixed my problems with the 'never starting dolphin'. Finally.. Thanks!!

flying-sheep commented on 2015-08-19 10:32 (UTC)

i got the same with libKF5Baloo.so.1 $ ldd /usr/bin/dolphin | grep -i baloo.so libKF5Baloo.so.5 => /usr/lib/libKF5Baloo.so.5 (0x00007f11ec50c000) libKF5Baloo.so.1 => not found reinstalling baloo-widgets-git solved it for me

tajidinabd commented on 2015-08-15 18:34 (UTC)

Needs a dependency on kactivities-frameworks

Soukyuu commented on 2015-05-07 13:31 (UTC)

Well, that didn't go well. Default shortcuts keep resetting to default and collide with my custom ones. I can reassign them, but they keep resetting as soon as I close dolphin.

so just add "#commit=7550ef029988626ba6249f1de90e2a42e7a9f632" to the git URL? got it :D
