I can't reproduce the need to change dependencies. Both
mono-msbuild-git
andnuget3
are missing theProvides:
section, which is why AUR does not detect them as viable alternatives.ChemicalAsh commented on 2024-03-16 00:22 (UTC)
I'm new here so I'm not sure if I should mark this package as out of date or if it's problem just for me, but I couldn't install dotdevelop-git normally without editing the PKGBUILD manually because both yay and paru kept complaining that it couldn't reach the url necessary to install "nuget-nightly" and that it couldn't find "mono-msbuild". So I just edited the dependencys on the PKGBUILD's "makedepends" from "nuget" to "nuget3" and "mono-msbuild" to "mono-msbuild-git" and it installed completely fine.
