I get error:

corefx-master/src/Native/Unix/System.IO.Compression.Native/pal_zlib.cpp:43:27: error: zero as null pointer constant

Any ideas how to solve it?

zulu commented on 2017-10-19 12:07

can not build because of zero as null pointer constant in pal_zlib.cpp

I removed the libcurl-openssl-1_0 patch and everything seemed to work just fine with the libcurl-compat version in the repository.

kylesferrazza commented on 2017-06-21 18:06

Should this package just makedepend on libcurl-openssl-1.0?

This fails when extracting the sources, what am I missing?

==> Extracting sources...
-> Extracting with bsdtar

bsdtar: Pathname cannot be converted from UTF-8 to current locale.
bsdtar: Archive entry has empty or unreadable filename ... skipping.
bsdtar: Error exit delayed from previous errors.
==> ERROR: Failed to extract

EDIT: Okay, I'm an idiot! Because I was building this in a container I had to `locale-gen && export LANG=en_US.utf8`. It builds fine now.

This should conflict (and probably provide) dotnet-cli.

I checked your patch and it worked so I changed PKGBUILD accordingly to it and committed changes. Thanks for your input.
Also Microsoft added fix for VERSION_ID so now there is no need in it in /etc/os-release file.

This package works great after applying my patch!
Thanks for finally getting dotnet 2.0 to run on my machine.
If you could patch the pkgbuild with the libcurl fix, that would be great.
Just so you know, after only changing the pkgbuild, everything worked perfectly. Even dotnet --info.
