So,

I'm making this pinned comment some sort of FAQ because some points keep coming up (although solved many times but buried somewhere in the comments):

* (30/06/17) .NET Core 2.0 packages are finished and available via the dotnet-sdk-2.0 and dotnet-runtime-2.0 packages.

* (30/06/17) Packages have been renamed as per the official naming scheme: https://github.com/dotnet/core-setup/issues/1599
This package is now merely a meta package pulling in the current stable runtime package. If you also need the SDK, you have to install that separately.

* If you keep running out of space while building ("No space left on device" errors) please consult the manual of your AUR helper on how to change the temporary build directory. The default is probably /tmp, which is usually a 4 GB tmpfs. That's just too small for building coreclr/corefx. Something like this should work:
$ BUILDDIR=/var/tmp/aur pacaur dotnet

* If you get funky errors while building or during runtime of dotnet after upgrading openssl-1.0, try rebuilding libcurl-openssl-1.0 and this package first. (thanks @optlink)

Bypass for error:

error: ignoring return value of function declared with 'warn_unused_result' attribute [-Werror,-Wunused-result]
pipe2(waitForChildToExecPipe, O_CLOEXEC);

https://gist.github.com/leafi/9404f79bcd3c64e4d828c0c5e06f056d

Isn't chamous (I don't like to much the solution), but works...

Sounds like you ran out of space where you are building it.

Getting this error when building, any ideas?
