If you want to keep this package alive, I suggest that you update it to the latest git master (currently 4ab6b2e (Dec 9, 2019)).

Plus, I recommend adding PR#39 as a patch.

Both the git master and the pull request contain essential fixes.

This package seems quite dead. Misses the python2-feedparser dependency, and the outdated install_requires prevents using the current jinja 2.11.3.

Lol, a bot tried to updated that dependency version but the maintainer didn't make the tiny bit of effort to accept the PR with the push of a button. :)

The URL is not available anymore and the twisted package was renamed to python2-twisted. It is available on Github:

Doesn't work until making changes to the depends in PKGBUILD: 1) python-jinja should change to python2-jinja 2) libtorrent to libtorrent-rasterbar 3) python-dateutil to python2-dateutil

Run it as root after you edit /etc/downpour.cfg with your user/group that you want it to use when running. Works for me... I get errors when trying to connect to the web interface though.

Pank - not too sure what to make of that. All the listed deps are included. Time to email the author.

There might be a missing dependency. When I start the daemon: "ImportError: No module named libtorrent"
