Version 8.7 out, unfortunately there is not an arch build for this currently, using debian build for now.

Have a look at the PKGBUILD, there are several patchelf lines that serve as examples that may be a workaround in the immediate future.

ds9: error while loading shared libraries: libxml2.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

After updating to libxml2 2.14.2-2 I encountered this issue

This does not need icu75. If you want to omit long time to build icu75: patchelf --replace-needed libicudata.so.75 libicudata.so /pathto/ds9 same for libicuuc.so.75 libicui18n.so.75

This does not work without icy75, so I believe it should be in DEPENDS?
