Not updated(pushed?)

Thanks, I prefer this approach. Updated.

This does not need icu75. If you want to omit long time to build icu75: patchelf --replace-needed libicudata.so.75 libicudata.so /pathto/ds9 same for libicuuc.so.75 libicui18n.so.75

Wild_Penguin commented on 2025-04-04 18:45 (UTC)

This does not work without icy75, so I believe it should be in DEPENDS?

linn commented on 2025-03-08 14:01 (UTC)

For those having issues with this package install the following package from the AUR - icu75

Archlinux 8.6 added binary for archlinux, you can use that.

@clu I can confirm, this error happens both with ds9-bin and ds9 proper for me.

Can you show which ds9 flavor you have installed? there are multiple options in the AUR, and I would not expect to see this error with this flavor of ds9.

Not compatible with tcl 8.6.14, cause error

This probably means that Tcl wasn't installed properly.

Error in startup script: couldn't read file "zipfs:/mntpt/library/ds9.tcl": no such file or directory
