@norgus I can "makepkg" successfully on my Archlinux. "ebview-git" does not have "Qt5" in its required packages. If you try to install the corresponding version of "qt5-xxx".

It wouldn't build on my system, sorry I don't really know better than to paste the error from octopi's log.

I rebuilt ebview-git r64.390e6ed-2 and it was done. Here's the build: gcc 12.1.0-1, libeb 4.4.3-7, ebview-git r64.390e6ed-2 Thank you.

@hirobot Did you try to force-rebuild ebview-git?

I am not able to reproduce the problem you've reported. EbView works fine with libeb 4.4.3-7 (even without a rebuild).

But I've yet to try builds with the new gcc 12.1.0. Which gcc did you build ebview-git and libeb with?

hirobot commented on 2022-05-11 01:24 (UTC)

When libeb 4.4.3-7 is used in ebview-git r64.390e6ed-2, it'll be malloc(): invalid size (unsorted).

Ubuntu carries some patches for this package.
