Since today the -data command line option does not work anymore, all the plugins are not working, and when I tried to remove and reinstall a package from the marketplace I ended up with the marketplace option no longer visible in the menu. What the hell happened??

@kanehekili: can you try again?

Installing the latest version ends in the following error message: (pamac)

Daemon Error: trans_run: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.InvalidArgs: Type of message, “(bbbbiasasasasasas)”, does not match expected type “(bbbbiasasasasasasas)”

There are some warnings when the package is being built, which do not affect use of the application. The waring of tar and strip may caused when the package is packed.

@ufbycd: will change on Sep 13, at the 4.29 (2023-09) release.

@jaeckel: the only difference between 4.28-2 and 4.28-1 is the JRE dependency version, which changed from 11 to 17, as indicated in the 4.28 release notes. If what you're implying is really the case, then it's not an issue that can be easily solved here, unfortunately.

It is best to depend on 'java-runtime>=17' instead of 'java-environment>=17'.

Latest version broke completely - pydev broke, no "Software updates" possible. Downgraded to 2:4.27-1 with success.

I can confirm that the "Updates/Marketplace/etc." part in 2:4.28-2 is broken, I just downgraded to 2:4.28-1 and that one's working fine.
