since the link above doesnt work, i used another mirror, the 8.1.0.201409241335 version,
it gives
cp: cannot stat ‘plugins/org.eclipse.rephraserengine.*.jar’: No such file or directory

Updated to version 8.1. I could not find a direct link to the ptp file, so I used the Columbia mirror. If that is not good for you, you can change it. The list of mirrors is here:

The previous version number, 8.0.1, was wrong. This is correct and much newer than the previous one, so you should upgrade.

I adopted the package and updated it.

I think the ptp version numbers have changed, but I am too stupid to find the new link to the zip file :(

I fixed the package updating it to version 7.0.4 but unfortunately I don't have time to maintain it actively! :-(

I no longer use or have eclipse, so I cannot test and maintain this package properly. I'm disowning it, so someone who actually uses it can adopt it. It will be better for this package that way.

Just as a note, Photran is available from builds page of PTP - http://wiki.eclipse.org/PTP/builds - because it is part of PTP for some time.

photran 7 is released, but we have to wait for eclipse 3.7 and cdt 8.

Sorry for small turbulences during upload of this. Anyway, it's now updated to latest release (6.0.7) that is part of PTP 4.0.7. I did not made separate PTP package and don't plan to, unless it will be part of Python(x,y) like this is. If you want to create PTP package or eclipse-photran-intel and eclipse-photran-xlf packages, go ahead. Btw, I borrowed package layout from Fedora, i.e. I removed compiler specific (intel, xlf) from basic package.
