@dangar123 What worked for me was deleting ~/.config/eddie and let it initialize again on startup.

The tray works again.

Honestly, I don't know which system configs caused the tray to be removed in the first place. For me (Arch Linux KDE Wayland) it always worked.

It minimizes the first time, but when I bring it up again it shows my desktop background in place of the gui. Have to click show main window in the tray icon to get it to show the gui again but then it refuses to minimize again afterwards.

Well, it's unrelated to tray, I think, more like a Mono thing. Probably a nice topic for the forums, would you kindly post it there, too, if not already done?

got this to work, was just missing patchelf. The tray works again. But still buggy when it comes to minimizing.  Edit: After installing nftables and enabling this in Eddie settings it works again. Is iptables deprecated?

After a system update I got this error, when activating network lock:

Exception: iptables don't reply, probabily kernel modules issue

Anyone know how to fix this? I tried different eddie versions but same result.

The following issue is now fixed (2.19.6-1).

The CLI tool had some issues on my system which are easily fixable.

When I launched the CLI tool with eddie-ui -cli, it told me "Unable to find a method to run elevated process" and I couldn't find a way to fix this per se.

When I launched it with sudo, it couldn't find my profile and shut down instantly. I believe, if you launch the CLI tool with sudo, it will try to find your profiles in the wrong directory (/usr/lib/eddie-ui/ instead of ~/.config/eddie/).

There are two solutions:

(1) You can launch the CLI tool with the AirVPN username and password as arguments, but it will be visible in the terminal history so it is not a good idea.

(2) Create a symlink so that the CLI tool can find the correct profile, then pass the name of the profile as an argument when launching the CLI tool:

sudo ln -s ~/.config/eddie/default.profile /usr/lib/eddie-ui/my_profile.profile

sudo eddie-ui -cli profile=my_profile

2.19.4 works for me on KDE - Manjaro. Thanks for the fix.

I see someone marked out-of-date. It's because we release the 2.19.3 but not yet updated AUR because the graphical issues on Manjaro KDE it's under investigation. Please be patience, we will update AUR in a few days.
