There is an update (icon fix) available via SVN which you may want to upgrade to: edelib 2.0.1. It's only posted on the EDE forums. You don't have to search for it, though - just remove source and md5sum and replace the "build" part before ./autogen.sh with: build() { cd "$srcdir" svn co https://ede.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/ede/branches/edelib-2.0.1 cd "$pkgname-$pkgver"

Thanks for the -fPIC fix. However, is there any reason to not use "-march=native -mtune=native" since the package is usually compiled for the machine where it will be installed?
