Hey, upstream has released a new version.
Alrighty, no worries Jackal. I also changed this package to use the new stable source as well now.
Hi, I've created eden-pgo-bin and eden-preview-pgo-bin based on your PKGBUILDs, the only difference being the use of the clang-pgo AppImage instead of gcc-standard. I've also already updated the download URL to stable.eden-emu.dev as mentioned in the previous comment by crueter.
See https://eden-emu.dev/blog/distribution-challenges. Release URL should be changed to https://stable.eden-emu.dev/v${pkgver}/${_pkgname}-Linux-v${pkgver}-amd64-gcc-standard.AppImage
Yeah just updated it to use their official Git repo page for the releases now instead of Github.
The Github repo for Eden was taken down, so this PKGBUILD won't work. However, it seems that builds of Eden are hosted here: https://git.eden-emu.dev/eden-emu/eden/releases
Oooh makes sense. Well I updated to v0.1.0 now but I will try and keep an eye out for Github shenanigans in the future xD.
v0.0.4 was released after the RCs. GitHub's sorting rules are horrible and decided to put it before the candidates.
Ah ok good to know! I just updated it to 0.4 then. I got confused because you did 0.4-rc1 after this and normally you do rc before it is released not after? So do you consider the rc1-rc3 after the base v0.4 as stable too or just the initial v0.4?
If you're talking about https://github.com/eden-emulator/Releases/releases/tag/v0.0.4 , this isn't a release candidate. GitHub is just stupid and puts rc3 first for some reason.

Following AUR guidelines this package will only update when a new stable release is dropped. I have uploaded a new package called eden-preview-bin which will contain RC's / beta's (depending on stability). This package will also be using the newer binaries not the less performant one's targetting compatibility. If you need those compatibility binaries feel free to copy my PKGBUILD and post your own AUR page for them.
