Please note: upstream has no sane way of announcing / releasing new versions. So if the source hash check fails, that probably means that upstream released a new version, replacing the 'edisyn.jar' file for download. Please flag the package as out-of-date then and I'll update it asap.

@kamelie170: turns out the HTTPS server where the edisyn.jar is offered for download is mis-configured, so there's nothing I can do to make curl accept its certificate.

I would like to create a normal edisyn package, which is compiled from the sources, but upstream does not offer any way to get a source archive for a particular version. And there is no place in the sources or the git repository, from which you can determine which state of the sources constitutes the point of a specific release.

So the only thing I can do is make an edisyn-git package, which always compiles the latest version of the code in the git repo, which I did just now:

So I recommend using edisyn-git going forward. This package (edisyn-bin) will not be updated until upstream fixes the certificate for the edisyn.jar download.

The curl error is due to it not being able to verify the SSL certificate of the server, which hosts the edisyn.jar file. I'm not surem why that is, though, since Firefox sees the same certificate as valid. I'm currently unsure, how I can tell makepkg to use a different certificate authority database, I'll have to ask around.
