This is because of https://github.blog/changelog/2023-01-30-git-archive-checksums-may-change/

They reverted it but some files might still be cached.

Getting following error when running "makepkg -si":

==> Validating source files with sha256sums... electricsheep-3.0.2-12.tar.gz ... FAILED ==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check!

trying to rebuild electricsheep to work with new boost-libs I get the following error

Found the problem its the updated boost-lib to 1.81 1.80 works fine.

with only wxwidgets-common installed, the build fails with:

checking for wx-config-2.9... no
checking for wx-config... no
installed version of wx is too old,
configure: error: Please install development libraries for wxWidgets 2.9.1 or higher, and then run this configure script again.
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build().
    Aborting...

this package requires wxwidgets-gtk3 (which has a dependency on wxwidgets-common). with both packages installed, the build completes successfully.

replacing wxgtk2 with wxwidgets-common in the depends section of PKGBUILD seems to do the trick (at least just running electricsheep without a paid account)
