Upstream is always broken and I'm tired of dealing with it. I will no longer maintain this package, although I will still maintain the -bin (AppImage) package.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS.

IT IS MALWARE.

The person who adopted the package after I abandoned it has replaced it with malware.

Edit: The package appears safe now. It was part of the recent AUR malware campaign which installed a malicious npm package via an install script. It appears that that has been fixed, so the package is currently safe. However the listed maintainer "eduardmaskova" is a malicious threat actor, and you should hold/pin the package after you install a safe version until you have confirmed a more trustworthy maintainer owns it.

If you get a python error regarding "AttributeError: 'mpz' object has no attribute 'to_bytes'", you have to either downgrade python-ecdsa to 0.13.3-3, or alternatively, use my electrum-nmc-bin package, which uses the AppImage.
