Note for the upgrade to 4.0.6: pacman version 6.1.0 rels 1-3 contain broken makepkg binaries due to an upstream bug. If you upgrade this and it doesn't seem to work, and the appimage is only a few hundred k, downgrade pacman to 6.0.2 and then re-make and re-install this package.
