Message search initialisation failed for me, both with the included start script and LD_PRELOAD and without which was supposedly fixed upstream https://github.com/element-hq/element-desktop/pull/1001

t3chguy says I need to report the issue that element automatically times out uploads here. Despite it NOT being a packaging problem. sighs

This is not your fault but please raise on my behalf. It also applies to the source built version which took ages.

Thanks for adding arm support!

Hi, would you add arm64 support? You should be able to do this by replacing amd64 with ${CARCH} and adding arm64 to the arch list

Would you please add arm64 support? It's basically the same source link, just /s/amd64/arm64/

Version 2023062401 has broken Element Call.

Can someone create element-desktop-bin from the Debian package? I have modified this package and run 1.11.16 now. I can no longer build community/element-desktop.

Seems like the install path has changed. It's /opt/Element now instead of /opt/Element-Nightly

Sorry everyone for the broken builds, I borked applying the LD_PRELOAD workaround again and didn't have time to fix it immediately.

It's fixed now!
