I'm going to adopt this package and see how it goes but I do not promise a lot of time to make it work... =(

New version from upstream, thanks to Arch user connaisseur. Minor upstream changes, but major Arch package changes because systemd replaced initscripts. This is my first daemon package under systemd. I no longer use elog, but I tested basic functionality on i686 and x86_64. Please post if you experience issues.

Version 2.9.2-1 is available since 27-Apr-2012. Maybe worth a look. :-)

Upgrade to upstream 2.8.0-2, which becomes Arch 2.8.0.2-1 (thanks to Arch user nitmd for the notice). The default location for man pages is now /usr/share/man, and the default location for logbooks is now /var/lib/elog, following the Arch packaging standards.
