I have not patched it yet, but I found the error, why it display correctly in Xnest but not in a regular session. the change came when moving from XF86 to XOrg

E13 expected the root window to be always present. that's no longer the case.

I will be patching it ... sometime before xmas

@ptero-4 this is compiling again with latest gcc. no need for gcc-8 anymore.

I fixed the build error on recent compiler, this now runs on Ubuntu 22.10 Now I need to update this PKGBUILD for ArchLinux

Won't compile with gcc 10.2.0. Need to add gcc8 to the depends line and change the gcc command to gcc-8 (to force using gcc 8 to compile this package).

it compiles and installs fine. you can test it out and see it running in Xnest

Xnest :3 & DISPLAY=:3 e13

but the theme isn't loading when starting your session.

I have tested with sddm/entrance and even xdm any help appreciated
