Local Epson L310 printer 's connected to cups printer sever with usb. It works well self test and local printing. And network printing also works well (client is windows 7), but spoolsv.exe process in windows7 cause 100% cpu usage and 100 degree temerature. I didn't noticed that problem for long time and my cpu suffered for long time but still alive. I have to stop that process in task manager to low cpu usage and temperature. When the printer conneted to window 7 and shared , spoolsv.exe process cause nothing. Doing pacman -Syu, and recompile the driver doesn't solve that. and I have no idea how to diagnose ....

@ErnestoDiazMD Hi, buddy. iepson-printer-utility-1.0.1-1lsb3.2.src.rpm is not a driver and is not include a ppd file used for cups. It's a utility source package. It is useless if you want to drive your epson printer.

Hi, I'd like to know if the package can be updated. Epson released a new version that include the utilities for cleaning the ink heads. The .src.rpm package can be found here: https://download3.ebz.epson.net/dsc/f/03/00/05/46/82/70de9ae49691dc52e18f29938534ac711204da9c/epson-printer-utility-1.0.1-1lsb3.2.src.rpm I tried to create the package with the instructions included, but I hit a wall when it ask for a Compiler that is not found in Arch.... I'm new at this, so I'd like some help
