Don't mark this package as outdated!

The non-free plugin updates on a different cycle than Epson Scan 2.

The current version of the plugin is in an older version of the main package.

When Epson releases an updated version of the plugin, this package will be updated.

Hi!

After some time diagnosing why scanning with a V39II did not work with epsonscan2, I've found this package does not chmod +x the es2intif after it had been modified with bbe. Please chmod +x the es2intif after you mv the es2intif.alt to es2intif.

Without this, you'll run into "Error during device I/O", after running through with strace -ff on scanimage, I found it was this executable without permission to run.

The simple installation of this package did not provide ocr to my epsonscan2 (I do not get any image format option 'Searchable PDF')

The non-free plugin updates on a different cycle than Epson Scan 2.

The current version of the plugin is in an older version of the main package.

When Epson releases an updated version of the plugin, this package will be updated.
