I have been very busy with some major life changes.

@rokero I have gone down that road before and I did not like it. I will review the package and plugins, but I will not be splitting the package. With that said, next time you want a package maintainer to do something nice for you, don't fucking threaten them--I would appreciate if you would be more polite in future communiques.

@zwastik Can you give me the output of epsxe being run via strace and valgrind? Might help me identify what's wrong. Also run ldd /opt/bin/epsxe (or whatever path the actual epsxe binary lives at.)

@visios5d I'll look into the lts and Nvidia changes. I don't have an Nvidia card, but I'll do what I can.

Months ago I recommended to the maintainer of this package to divide the package in two to avoid the big problem with the architectures, the result is that due to their refusal to do things right, the package continues to work poorly, since the 64 architecture plugins are not supported and without them the app is unusable, so if you don't want to keep the package don't do it, but if you do, do it right.

When viewing the video config gui (using sway wayland)

Hi, since linux-lts moved to the 5.10 version and nvidia-340xx-lts upgraded for new linux-lts, epsxe crashes.

@rokero I'll look at the 64bit and 32bit failures, but I won't be splitting the package.

rokero commented on 2020-08-13 12:39 (UTC)

the best solution is, make two packages, the firs for 64 bits arquitecture, the second, for 32 bits arquitecture.

rokero commented on 2020-07-01 21:05 (UTC)

there are 64 bit failures, and the package that is supposedly for I686 is not installed, also it seems that although it is installed manually, the plug-ins do not work for some reason

rokero commented on 2020-06-24 19:10 (UTC)

el paquete «epsxe-2.0.5-24-i686» no posee una arquitectura válida

In the next few weeks I'll be adding upstream shaders to this package.
