@Khorne i get error when trying to update via yay, everything passes but not the SP57_INT.run file.

Not a clue I'm afraid.

I suggest trying out extra/mono and see if the issue persists.

Thanks for your answer, I just wanted to double check. Actually I am using: -Mono JIT compiler version 6.12.0 (makepkg/ed0788bf61f Sun Apr 24 04:25:18 PM UTC 2022) -Linux 5.19.11-zen1-1-zen -KDE plasma 5.25 -Some 8th generation I5... Considering it's working on your setup it must be an issue on my side, even though I can't tell because no output or error is given.

Since you are the mantainer did you notice any stuff during the year that might be the culprit here?

Package works fine here.

@immelman Are you using a mono version different than the repos?

immelman commented on 2022-09-28 22:57 (UTC)

Is the latest version working for anyone? I am not able to launch the application. Nothing happens in the console

just tried the new test build via the .run installation file on the forum page and it works with the latest mono release: https://forum.evolvapor.com/topic/69197-linux-escribe-suite-beta-thread/?do=findComment&comment=934843

@Khorne The package mono-stable is currently flagged as out-of-date, as the official stable version IS 5.20. Replacing mono with mono-stable is a suitable solution in the meantime for people who don't use Mono for anything else, but it's definitely not going to last. I cannot confirm that it works, as the mono-stable package fails to build for me.

Khorne commented on 2019-05-23 09:29 (UTC)

@digital_mystik Yup, it's currently broken.

See: https://forum.evolvapor.com/topic/69197-linux-escribe-suite-beta-thread/?do=findComment&comment=931467

Downgrading mono to 5.18.1.0 seemingly "solves" the problem but I don't intend to create a versioned dependency. An option I haven't got around to testing would be testing against aur/mono-stable and see if that is compatible enough.

There seems to be an issue with escribe-suite and ecigstats crashing; a SIGABRT occurs and there might be some conflict with mono. Not sure when it stopped working as it has been fine in the past, but I noticed that it wasn't booting properly when I tried to use it recently.
