Could you please remove line 27 from the PKGBUILD, it really is not required and just deletes users custom HUD when installed. The game will extract up-to-date mod binaries from fs_basepath to fs_homepath automatically, there is no need to remove them manually.

Edit: also since etlegacy now produces differently named binaries for Linux x86/64, this doesn't necessarily need to conflict with the 64-bit package anymore.

Temporarily fix by commenting out the lines which move the INSTALL.txt and COPYING.txt from the "package" section of the PKGBUILD

Thanks, I added lib32-libpulse. I tried building and the game runs but it segfaults with my settings.

Getting the following error:

       0 Loading "libopenal.so.1"...
ALSA lib dlmisc.c:283:(snd_dlobj_cache_get0) Cannot open shared library /usr/lib32/alsa-lib/libasound_module_pcm_pulse.so ((null): libpulse.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)
0 Failed to open OpenAL device.
       0 Can't initialize OpenAL - reverting to SDL2 interface

To fix it please add multilib/lib32-libpulse to the dependencies - thanks!

Looks like "alt-tabbing" doesn't work with lib32-sdl2 2.0.10-1
