Since the upstream builder (https://github.com/search5/Evernote-for-Linux) has stopped packaging Evernote, I can't do anything with this AUR package. Sorry, folks!

Hello All !
Unfortunatly evernote does not work behind a proxy
I am using it at the office and it does not detect the proxy configured my arch linux computer
Inside evernote there no option to configure the proxy.
Maybe there is a configuration file somwhere or any other solution?
regards Ray

@yuyichao OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! That was precisely what the problem was! You really made my day haha. I appreciate it greatly!

Do you have gnome-keyring installed? It seems to me that evernote (the beta-bin package at least) uses that to store login info.

@Malikos yes you understood me correctly, I also have the same issue with evernote-beta-bin. And frustratingly, if you try to Google the error it is like an info black hole.. this is a tough one to figure out @.@ Even tried both packages on a Manjaro and Garuda install and had the same outcome. If anyone might have the solution please let me know, I’d appreciate it!

@kame3200 did I understand correctly that you had the same problem with evernote-beta-bin? In both cases, I don't have any suggestions, but if you only experience such problems with this package, then notice that this is a Windows version repackaged for Linux. Things may not work as noted on the upstream repo. That being said, I don't have any problems with either of those packages. This one just sometimes randomly scrolls to the bottom of the note but other than that it's fine.

Is anyone else having an issue where credentials are only remembered until the system is restarted? I gave this package a try after having this issue with evernote-beta-bin, but alas this is giving me the same trouble where after a restart, upon opening the window it states "Authentication data not found."
