C compiler errors in kpathsea can be fixed by adding CFLAGS+=" -DHAVE_STRING_H -DHAVE_STDLIB_H" before arch-meson "$pkgname" build.

@swiftscythe no, I don't have nautilus installed

@carslosnewmusic: I am basically using the same PKGBUILD as in [extra].

Maybe there's a packaging issue in [extra], too? Basically, exempi is a dependency of localsearch, which is itself a dependency of nautilus. Do you have nautilus installed? If you do, then the issue is somewhere else, if you don't, then I'll add it as an explicitly dependency.

@carslosnewmusic: that's not a packaging issue, it is in your system. Consider trying another mirror.

@carlosnewmusic I hadn't used the package in a while, I have aligned it with the extra/evince. Check now

@swiftscythe - yeah that should be implemented upstream, but I'm not sure how gnome handles merge requests compared to a project on github.

swiftscythe commented on 2022-04-07 05:12 (UTC)

@Dylan14, shouldn't that be fixed upstream?
