if you don't mind me asking, I understand that they moved to a closed beta but you can still very easily update it though, just need to change the .zip file sha256 and pkgver and I'tll install without any problems, so why not ?

Please don't flag this as out-of-date. Eden is a private beta, there'll be no updates for this package. This package is kept to reserve the name. If you wish to use Eden, please contact Exodus at support@exodus.io

Exodus Eden is being discontinued in a couple of days, as Exodus is moving to a private beta (which you can apply for on their Slack). There will be no more updates for this package.
