This stand-alone PKGBUILD for ExRootAnalysis will soon be removed, and ExRootAnalysis will instead be installed from the version bundled with Delphes (as that version is up-to-date).

You can see a new PKGBUILD at https://gist.github.com/JP-Ellis/9f75db2a66bd1a75f10a0c8452a5f268 which bundles ExRootAnalysis separately to Delphes; however, in the future, Delphes might replace ExRootAnalysis entirely.

@mijon I need to update this package (I'll try to do this soon, but I may not be able to do this until the weekend). I was informed by the maintainers of ExRootAnalysis that the most up-to-date version is the one bundled with Delphes. As a result, I will be deleting this package from AUR and make Delphes a split package that can install ExRootAnalysis. This means that even if you get the installation to work for now, it may contain bugs and/or incompatibilities.

Hi JP, thanks for your contributions! I was not able to build the package, but after modifying the PKGBUILD in the following way it works:

build() {
cd trunk
cmake ./ -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX="${pkgdir}/usr"
make
}

package() {
cd trunk
make install
}

I am still very inexperienced with the AUR. Is that a valid solution?
