@benwbooth Thank you, after patching the pkgbuild as you suggest I've been able to build exult-git. Too bad the maintainer hasn't been active here for more than 1 year now.

The trick is to make sure you have the autoconf-archive package installed before building this. Then replace the ./autogen.sh line with autoreconf -v -i. Ideally autoconf-archive should be added to the build dependencies for this package.

The readme suggests using autoreconf -v -i before configure but then I get "undefined macro" errors

Nordlicht: I've filled a bug report with upstream: https://sourceforge.net/p/exult/patches/105/ For now you can try the patch from the bug report.
