Thanks for the fix! I modified the PKGBUILD to use the GitHub release as the upstream yesterday. But I encountered some issues when posting the comment. So I'm going to just post it again.
I have published my modified PKGBUILD at https://github.com/database64128/pkgbuild-collection/blob/main/f33-backgrounds/PKGBUILD. If you'd like to let me submit these changes here, feel free to add me as a co-maintainer or even transfer (add someone else as co-maintainer and then disown) the package to me. If you prefer to keep the package as-is, that's OK too!

The source URL is broken. It should be changed to https://archives.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/development/rawhide/Everything/source/tree/Packages/f/f33-backgrounds-33.0.8-3.fc35.src.rpm. Or even better, https://github.com/fedoradesign/backgrounds/releases/download/v33.0.8/f33-backgrounds-33.0.8.tar.xz.
